Last night Edwin and the 2 other current directors got the OCP for the rural electoral areas passed. You know, the one the people of Areas A,B,and C have been working on for 2 years. The one that follows the RGS and speaks up for the preservation of the rural areas and rural lifestyle and rural values which make this Valley such an amazing place. The one that adopts new BC Provincial guidelines on annexation and urban sprawl containment, which call for municipalities to redevelop their cores before they sprawl outward. The one that calls for municipalities to consult first with the people who live in areas they want to annex. The one some developer backed municipal councillors tried really hard to delay, in the hopes that Edwin and the others would be defeated, so they could throw the OCP out. Vote for strong experienced leadership in Area C. Vote to maintain rural values, promote agriculture, and stop the mindless sprawl mentality that has been changing the valley into an endless suburb. Vote Edwin Grieve tomorrow.
