Last night, I accidentally went out and enjoyed myself. Go figure. Heres the back story. I sold a comedy CD (LaughWhileYouLearn.us) to a fan and promised that Id be at the Apache Cafe on OPEN MIC night. Lo and behold I did not understand that the OPEN mike was CLOSED to comics. UGH! I was faced with the dilemma of keeping my word or braving the cold. I kept my word and found the fan THERE as he promised. I felt obliged to stay because he made the effort. Im glad I was there. I really enjoyed myself PARTICULARLY the voice of this WONDERFUL artist, LRenee (LRENEE.net). She tore Patti LaBelles version of IF ONLY YOU KNEW up. I mean, even Patti would have given her her props. GEE MO ZEE this woman can SANG. Watch out for her. WOW. She has SOUL and CONTROL. MERCY!!! Also, the MC of the night should be in movies...She was FABULOUS...(dont know her name.) She was comical, musical, and respectful. GREAT show. Loved her as well!
