Last night, I almost died. Literally. Remember those bats that broke into my house about a month ago? Remember, they (yes, they) were caught...except 1 that was unaccounted for? Remember, pest control/bat specialist moved into my house while we moved out for about a week? Well, last night, while in the privacy of my very own basement, I noticed a big, brown, fist-sized something stuck to one of the ceiling traps. Thank Goodness we left those unsightly things hanging all around the basement!!! As I begin to approach the sticky trap to investigate this random big fist, I (thankfully) remembered that just 1 month ago, there was 1 bat that got away. At that very moment, I picked myself up & carried myself out of that basement as if Freddy Crueger was after me. In that split second, I became the leading star of a horror movie. Im pretty sure there were sound effects & extra shadows. Despite my clumsy escape, full of tripping & jammed doors, I SURVIVED yall! I made it to the end of that movie. RIP to that bat, though! Im a survivor!!!
