Last night, I asked my daughter, Amanda, who is selling her Barbie - TopicsExpress

Last night, I asked my daughter, Amanda, who is selling her Barbie house and accessories, to dress her 18 or so Barbie/Ken dolls--they were being picked up this morning by Libby at St. Bs Daycare...and I did not want to send them all naked. She said, Ill do it in the morning. I said, I think you should do it now. She didnt. So, this morning rolls around and Amanda is still in bed at 7:25, despite her alarm going off at 7...she apparently hit snooze 3 or 4 times. So she woke up to the lights being turned on and her covers being pulled off. Hey, what gives? Get up and dress your Barbies. What?! Chop. Chop. Why cant this wait until later. No questions. Get going. By 7:50, she wasnt even dressed yet, and she was eating her breakfast on the floor next to the Barbie stuff. Mom, Im going to be late for school! Well, you better hurry up...7 more Barbies to go. Joe comes out and asks, Whats going on? Amanda says, Moms going bananas. Wanna help me? He begins to assist her...and she starts giggling hysterically because hes trying to squeeze Barbies clothes on Ken...and its not happening. Tick tock. Tick tock. So, she finally got all the dolls dressed and I drove her to school at 7:59...the bell rang just as we arrived. When I got back home, since I was still in the mode, I ended up going through ALL of her stuff in the basement, and filling two trash bags full. Its now 10:05 am. Time for coffee...or maybe wine.
