Last night I done something kind of dumb and wanted to see how much range my bike had with new plugs and filters before it ran out of fuel.270 kms for the curious and collectors of silly information.Write it down, it might come up during a trivia night. Anyway, for some reason my reserve was empty too so I started pushing it to the nearest garage.I was in a black tshirt and on a black bike so pushed it towards traffic as is the law if walking, because i was pushing a bike was beside the point. Anyway, I heard a scream of tyres and a hell of a bang them a horn stuck on.It sounded so close I thought I was going to get it and I literally tore every muscle in my neck trying to see where the noise was and whether i was going to get hit.Somehow i ended up on the other side of the bike (no shit !!) and dont remember how.I couldnt actually see the accident because i was a fair distance away and ing about said that the bike was involved.The bike rider who ran out of fuel was ME. I didnt sleep real well last night, thinking by what I read that I was somehow responsible for the accident even though I was at east two hundred metres further south.I rang Police this morning and the guy who was at fault was travelling in a south bound direction. The guy travelling northbound was in the station making a statement at the time and he assured me and police that I was seen easily by him because of reflectors on my bike and was well off the carriageway. The vehicle at fault was a black Cressida and he went on the wrong side of the road and took out the vehicle who had passed me two hundred metres prior.As for having seen and ignored the accident, I am not exactly 20 years old , it was bad enough pushing a three hundred kilo bike and what was I going to do anyway? The accident was that far away that I couldnt see it, only heard it and for all I knew it was in Bumstead Road.I could see many people in car lights shortly after running towards the accident but stilcouldnt see where it was. Alex Caton gave both the Police and this site bullshit information and after the torment I went through last night until I rang police and got the TRUTH not the supposition of an idiot, I think Alex Caton you need your arse kicked.
