Last night, I dreamed I was awake. I finally managed to catch a collared dove, happy to have made my earlier dream come true. Then, a thought flashed through my mind that my earlier dream involved catching a pigeon too. So I saw a pigeon and caught that too. Both birds were now in my hands. However, no sooner had I caught them than they pretended to be dead and lay motionless. The pigeon started to feel irritating as if it was invisibly exuding a toxin to repel its hunter, me. It became rather unbearable to hold. I released it and it fell onto my collar and slipped into the back of my shirt. My back was now the victim of irritation. I took off my shirt to get rid of the pigeon and then fixed each bird to a pike, penetrating the two pikes into the two fleshes. Then I began running home, happy as I was, to inform my mum about my achievement. As I was on my way, I noticed that the birds flapped their wings, even though their bodies were thoroughly pierced by the pikes. I inclined to think that they were alive, and they must have been very happy because I was carrying them in the air, supporting their weight with the two pikes, without them needing to flap hard to be aerial as they normally would. Meanwhile, I didn’t realize when the collared dove changed into another bird, the name of which I do not know. It had turned into a smaller bird with a red tail. Anyway, I reached home and showed the two birds to my mum. I cannot remember her response clearly, but it was rather disdainful.
