Last night I drove by a restaurant called Berrys near Florence, MS. An unbelievably huge barn like building that didnt disappoint! My dilemma? Do I pay for a to go box from the buffet and take it back to the hotel or sit down and eat alone? (Thats hardly ever fun). So my decision was made and alone I sat and began to eat a grand meal! As I looked to my right, I noticed two men sitting at a table and they begin to look familiar to me, and though I believed Id seen them before somewhere, I sat idle and enjoyed my wonderful meal. However, before long I glanced back over and couldnt resist asking the men, Do we know one another? One of them said to me, well, Im not sure and described where he works but that wouldnt have been where I knew him and so I began to share that I was the Awana Missionary for Mississippi! To which he exclaimed, well, we have Awana at our church! Salem Heights Baptist Church in Laurel, MS and his friend was a member of Glade Baptist Church also from Laurel, MS. (Bryna Mcandrew). We talked for several minutes and after about 15 minutes of sharing our work and testimony the gentleman from Salem Heights Baptist walked over to me shook my hand thanking me for our calling to be a faith supported Missionary, and while picking up my bill he declared he would be taking care of this for me tonight! Wow! What a blessing! I just sat their amazed! Thankful indeed for what had just happened to me for sure, I took my friend Ron Fahrners advice from Veterans Day. When the meals were reduced or provided for Military Vets at certain restaurants on Tuesday for their service to God and Country, we were to take great care of the server too! So last night my server received a great tip and I was able to receive a blessing and prayerfully be a blessing! I just love the verse Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
