Last night I got off of work at 11:30. I drive to Meijer on Hilliard Rome Rd.. I went in and did my shopping which was to get Tara some flowers and Reese Cups, just to come back out to the locked Van, key in the ignition. I called Tara. This was at about 12:15. We tried to get three taxi companies to go get her and the spare keys just to bring them to me. None of them would go out to our house!!!! Refusal! Denied!!! So as of about 2:15 in the morning I called my uncle Steve Fletcher who had absolutely no problems with coming out to bring Tara to me. He did so. The Columbus Police that I pay taxes to accommodate their salary, would not come help me. They dont respond to lockouts. Meanwhile the were patrolling Meijer parking lot and surrounding areas but would not stop and help. I will be writing a letter Im sure. But heres what was pulled to my attention. At about 2:35 a girl in a Honda pulled up, jumped out with her trunk popped, and pulled out a bag. She continued to pursue the van and said, do you mind if I try? This was as I was trying with a hanger that I had purchased from the store. It turns out she was 17, almost 18, as she quoted, and the bag she had was a break in kit she bought elsewhere. 15 minutes before that I had looked to the sky and asked him to help me. I said, I dont blame you for my stupidity but itd be nice to have your help! He sends me a 17 year old girl whom was out without her parents knowing, very friendly, willing to help, had a break in kit specific for my situation, AND..... When she popped the lock and I said, thank you Jesus, she turned and looked at me as if I was speaking 1600s language. I told her about JESUS. I was put there in the situation that had me BURNING WITH FRUSTRATION, to witness to a young girl who was obviously in need of Him. THAT Shannon Thompson IS MY testimony! I have another too!!!!!
