Last night, I got to experience something very cool. It happened at the art gallery my wife owns, which also carries American Sons (in addition to the works of a few other local authors). I watched a customer stop and pick up the book. He turned it over in his hands, staring at the cover design, then reading the back description. He looked fascinated. I continued to watch him as he cracked open the book and sank into the yellow comfy couch, immersed. A few minutes later he stood, approached the counter, and asked, How much? Im a humble type and only told him the price - but my wife is intensely proud of me, and so she proceeded to tell him that I just so happened to be one of the books authors. The expression of surprise on his face was priceless. But not as priceless as being able to witness a strangers discovery of the book I helped bring to fruition. That was gold. The Writer Vince Font
