Last night I had a dream about walking in Baltimore in the spring. I seemed to walk for hours, but it was dusk the entire time (um, happy hour?! Hmm...). I periodically dream about my old house in Canton, but in my dream it is different. It has secret compartments and I am able to get in and out even though it is no longer my home. In the dream, I stopped in at my house and changed into strappy sparkly silver sandals. If you know me, you know I dont really wear strapppy shoes or sandals, but whatever they were important and they seemed to make me happy. I walked along the waterfront in Canton and the setting sun on the water also reflected off of my shoes. I strutted. I danced. I was fearless. When I woke up, I could feel the smile on my face. I slipped on my slippers as I got out of bed. As I pulled on my left slipper, my hand made contact with something. I pulled off the slipper and giggled as I saw that my slipper has somehow acquired about 6 or so jewels on the soles from one of the girls Christmas craft kits. Diamonds indeed. I am that girl. Strapppy silver sandals, or glittery moon boot slippers. It doesnt really matter.
