Last night I had a dream that I was in great conversation with those who had already lived. Their words cut sharp. I listened. We talked about everything from politics to religion, however the main subject of our conversation was the contradiction of man. Everything from the Untied States standing up against democracy in Crimea to our mothers telling us to tell the truth and then turning around to lie so that their children were taken care of came up in conversation. I sat listening to those who had already lived go on and on about how all men were created equal and then theyd turn around to say slaves need not apply. I thought what hypocrites we are.... At the end of the night or should I say the morning a beautiful young woman walked up to me, placed her finger on my mouth and said, SHHHH!, stop breathing. I woke right then gasping for air... Choking on all that was said. I am not so sure I would have remembered what the dream was about had she not woke me. It was terrifying! Not the fact that I felt so close to death, but rather that the conversation concluded with we are all a contradiction. Still though I cant help, but feel those at the table with me didnt speak for everyone because I have met so many out there who havent waned from who they are or what they believe. Perhaps I choked because we hadnt a say so in the words shared at that table.
