Last night I had an encounter that sorta hit me in the soft spot. This woman was watching me play and we sorta swapped energy throughout the tune. I would flip my stick and she was giving me virtual high fives. So on break I made my way over to make good on the high fives and it is obvious this woman has seen some shit. She was of the post-meth addiction bracket and our conversation was a bit scattered and ADD, but it was friendly. As I stepped away to leave I asked her name and she sort of flinched and hesitantly told me and so I said it was nice to meet you. She then asked me whats my name? And it dawned upon me that she was tearing up because I gather that no one ever bothers to ask her name and she was sort of enjoying the moment of normal human contact. So Tricia... Hang in there...
