Last night I had the honor and privilege to get up on stage with a true patriot and one of my personal heroes Toby Keith! I will forever be grateful for my brief moment in the sun as a rock star. As a Veteran looking out at 40,000 fans cheering for me in appreciation of my service and joining me in my unwavering love for the greatest country in the world was heartwarming and emotional, and it is a moment I will cherish forever. I would like to take this opportunity to mention that there are thousands of Veterans out there who are not as lucky as I have been. There are no cheers, no appreciation, no jobs, and for many no one to talk to about the demons they face everyday. If you ever have the opportunity to help out, donate, support or just lend an ear please do. Our freedom is not free, take the time to pay it back...
