Last night I put all the songs from my next release in a queue in - TopicsExpress

Last night I put all the songs from my next release in a queue in iTunes and listened to them straight through. It made me happy. Im very pleased with how these songs came out, and think this will be a very strong release. All along Ive wanted to release this album on vinyl with a digital download, and this is the direction I still intend to take. I dont really see the value in a CD release if the downloads are hi-resolution. Personally, I dont even listen to CDs anymore. I burn them to my computer, and listen to a hi-res digital file or MP3. The limit for vinyl is 18 minutes per side. With the songs I have completed so far, Im at 17 minutes per side, 4 tracks each side, not including the New Order cover, so that will likely only be available on the Zephyr EP, and possibly as a freebie if you purchase the album. Once Bubbleboy is completed, Im going to start working on cover art, and making decisions around where to get it mastered for vinyl, where to get it pressed, what color of vinyl to get, etc. Depending on backlogs at pressing plants, it will probably be a Spring release. By then Ill already be working on tracks for the next album. But first, I need to finish up Bubbleboy vocals by this Saturday.
