Last night I saw the movie, August: Osage County, with Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts. I am telling you this is not for everyone. I found it depressing , and deeply disturbing at best. Everything about this movie was all round ugly and I almost quit watching a number of times, but it kept drawing me in. Meryl Streep was flawless, and utterly dominates. This is about a family which gives us the full meaning of dysfunctional. Tonight I will watch Games of Thrones, which i love. BUT as I watch I think, boy mankind has not learn a damn thing through all the ages. We are still grabbing lands and power, and playing each other for control, cheating and greed. I dont know if we will ever learn. ..... just saying.
