Last night I slept peacefully, more content than I had ever been before. As I slept I had a dream. I dreamt that I was living in a real home and I wasn’t lonely anymore. My coat was shiny and soft. I had a full belly. I heard a friendly voice and felt a warm embrace. I wasn’t scared. Then in my dream I was out in a garden and I could smell all kinds of things, but what I remember most while I was in the garden was the smell of salt sea air. I heard the sound of a flock of sparrows and the lonesome call of a seagull. In my dream I felt like I had a special place in this castle. I felt like I was home. When I woke up, I realized that my dream had come true.......and it was all because I have a foster dad! I am a Beagle Paws dog and I feel like my life matters. It is a good feeling!
