Last night, I spent the evening in the company of some long-term friends; we laughed a lot, talked a lot and covered many subjects, including the Final Parting. One of our friends is facing a life- or- death battle ahead of him and the next two weeks are vital for him. This song has really driven it home to me that last night may have been our last time together. However, just like the ending of this song, there is always hope that we will indeed meet again. So Im dedicating this little song to friends everywhere and hoping that we dont leave it too long before we meet up and share one anothers company again.
