Last night I stopped in Wawa to grab a few things. On my way out - TopicsExpress

Last night I stopped in Wawa to grab a few things. On my way out I was approached by two men telling me they were homeless and hungry. I could feel their hunger as the older brother asked if I could at least feed his younger brother. So I told them to go in and place an order. As they placed their order they were smiling and giddy knowing they were going to eat. Then the woman making their food looked over and asked me if was ok and I happily replied yes. A few seconds later she was yelling at these two men standing there with me, telling them not to bug her customers for food. I looked at the two guys standing next to me holding their heads in shame with no smile left and I lost it. I looked at this woman and asked her who she thought she was talking to customers like that and told her to apologize to these men and to mind her business. It angered me so much that I sent the guys to get a big fountain drink and a big bag of chips each and they found their smiles again. When walking out they thanked me for the food and most of all standing up for them. They told me with sad eyes that it happens all of the time. They asked if they could hug me for my kindness so I gave them each a hug and I wished them well. I then got into my car and saw them on the side of the Wawa tearing into their food and waving to me while yelling thank you with big smiles on their faces. Im not saying this for kuddos. I am telling this story because I am sick and tired of rude ignorant judgmental people who always judge books by their covers and instead of listening they feel it their god given right to tell others how they should live. How about we stop trying to be so hurtful and try to be more helpful. If you want a better world. Put in the work and make it a better world and live through your heart and GOD DAMN IT...be a better example for your children. Life doesnt have to be a competition.
