Last night I was mugged by eight young black men. I tried to reprimand them for braking a bar glass in front of the French Broad Food Co-op. Was hit in the face and leg with Flower-Pots. They took off running and I grabbed my cell dialed 911 immediately and started walking after them. I was facing them on the phone across from the Aloft hotel when the Ambulance reached me. Spent the night at the Hospital, received stiches and x- ray. I walked downtown took a nap by the Vance for couple hours with hospital rag over my face. Went to the police evidence room to collect my belongings a little later. Got my prescriptions filled, changed out of hospital shirt and walked into the library sporting my brand new facelift. A WLOS reporter wants to interview me in half an hour outside the library.
