Last night I was part of an amazing performance at the House of Blues in LA. It was called Rock for Ruben, a charity event for Rick Springfields longtime roadie, Ruben, who is dealing with cancer. After Rick Springfields killer set, I played six KISS classics along with Kenny Aronoff, James Lomenzo and Gilby Clarke. On Aces Rocket Ride (Rubens favorite KISS song), Rick fronted my band for the tune. The evening then ended with Ricks famous hit Jessies Girl, with me and James sitting in with Ricks band. Lots of money was raised for Ruben, who has mounting bills from fighting cancer.
