Last night I went to a girlfriends house for pizza and a movie. She got the pizza, I was in charge of the movie. I picked up one that I thought would ensure stupid humor to get my mind off of things. The Internship with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. I didnt even think it would be funny because I dont remember a lot of buzz about it, I just thought it was safe for a night like that. We were only half watching the movie but I caught Will Ferrell make a comment about one of the genetic disorders that they tested Josh for, which he didnt have but based on his height alone we were waiting to hear that for the six weeks that the test took. It was like my husband, being the comedian that he is, was saying Cmon Kate! Enough crying today. Im with you no matter what and Ill prove it. Youre not safe anywhere, but you can laugh once in a while. So again, Josh doesnt have this syndrome, this disease is not a joke, but I sure as hell would never know this disease if it werent for our current situation and the last 2.5 months of our lives. From The Internship, as Will Ferrells character berates Vince Vaughns character: Cmon Marfan syndrome. You know Marfan. Big mans disease. Giant killer. I had to laugh. Josh, you are such an ass. Still trying to get me to lighten up, no matter what the topic.
