Last night I went to church with such a heavy heart.. The burden came on suddenly- without warning I was in a storm. During service I could feel such a deep moving of Gods Spirit- even amid the perplexity of my heart. Bro. Adam preached on Elisha and the King. Upon Elishas death bed, Elisha instructed the King to take the arrow( the weapon of the Lord) and smite the ground- in doing so- every time he would smite the ground, thats how many times he would defeat the enemy. Yet the king upset Elisha in only smiting the ground thrice. God spoke to me during his message saying,during prayer service you will be given that bow. Immediately I thought, No lord, not in the middle of this storm!!!! So just as the Lord had spoken I went up, Bro Adam pulled me up( my heart racing) as he walks over and hands me that bow. See, obedience is NOT always easy..lol. As I began to smite the ground, all the hurt I had tucked away inside surfaced. I felt the yoke of the enemy breaking off my shoulders. All I could do was weep- as I smote the ground. But, I felt release coming, and victory underway. Thankful that it is not by might , nor by power, but by His Spirit! :,) Thank you Lord, your mercy endureth forever!!
