Last night, Israeli sea-commandos pulled off a dangerous raid in Gaza, hitting a facility where long-range rockets were being fired at Israel. They ran into Hamas resistance, and in the exchange of fire, several Hamas terrorists were killed and four Israeli commandos were lightly wounded. They are now being treated at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. We had Red-Alert sirens go off here this morning at 6 AM - the Iron Dome intercepted three incoming rockets, but that doesnt completely alleviate the danger - the rockets dont evaporate, and shrapnel and all kinds of metal fragments come raining out of the sky, hot jagged metal chunks falling at high velocity - one put a hole in the concrete floor of my neighbors balcony - its therefore important for anyone in Israel to remain under cover for at least 60 seconds after the sirens stop wailing.
