Last night, JoAnn and I drove down to Havelock, NC in order to attend the 3rd District GOP Convention this morning on behalf of Mark Harris, and was truly surprised to see an ad being run on the TV stations there against Walter Jones, the current House Rep from that District. It says it was paid for by a group called something like Emergency Support for Israel Fund, claiming he isnt conservative enough. They cite several votes on measures that support that claim, but what I cant figure out is if this group is pro-Democrat or pro-his primary opponent, who I admit I know nothing about. Anyone have any insight into this???
