Last night Mets lost to Braves 2-1 in very exciting game that was almost an exact duplicate of the game Gee pitched in Atlanta. Led 1-0 going into 9th and lost 2-1. Could write a book on what happened from beginning of Met 8th when Satin led off with pinchhit single to last batter in 9th when Jason Heyward made sensational catch when ball hit by Turner seemed to be going to the wall for a game winning double. Two major culprits for Mets were Wright and Buck. Bottom of 8th, Mets lead 1-0, one out, Murphy on first, Young on 3rd, all Wright needs to do is hit a fly ball or even a ground ball and we get the insurance run in. Instead he looks at a fast ball down the middle for strike three. In top of 9th Buck can;t catch a high fast ball from Parnell. Passed ball lets runners move up and leads to bath runners scoring, one on groundball to ss that would have been a dp.
