Last night Rockwood Police Officers responded to a citizens request for a welfare check. Unfortunately, the outcome was not as hoped. My point here is to compliment Rockwood Officers Dep. Chief Stinnett and Det. Gray who worked all night and day in an cooperative investigative effort with TBI Special Agents Legg and Friel, who also worked all night and day on this case. Their dedication to work and seeking the truth and working all night and day without sleep should be commended. I also want to recognize RPD Sgt. Keahey, who stayed way past the end of his shift today to help; RPD Officers Hall and Meyer for staying over extra last night to assist in handling calls while the scene was secured and stabilized; and Det. Rymer for coming in early. I sure dont want to forget Officers Collins and Smith who bought lunch for all those who worked over. WOW!!!!! What a team effort! Rockwood, these are the type of officers you have employed as your protectors as well as the TBI Agents for their diligence as well. Good to all guys!!!!
