Last night The Hon Fred Chaney AO gave The Australian National University Reconciliation Lecture at the National Film and Sound Archive Arc Cinema. He focused on the question of whether Australia is big enough for reconciliation. The lecture was Mr Chaney’s last official function as a Reconciliation Australia Board Director and it is timely to thank him for his commitment to reconciliation. Since becoming one of our founding Co-Chairs’, he has worked tirelessly towards the goals of reconciliation and has played an instrumental role in the development of Reconciliation Australia.
