Last night a Schenectady AC stray rushed to the vet suspecting Parvo but turned out to be colitis. Total scrambling at 11pm as to where to put her as she was so scared and confused and we knew she needed to get into a home to calm down. Bonnie Kelleher and Cassie Costantino Carol Ann Johnson and I had to do some quick swapping around to figure things out and then hope and pray for a foster. A roll of the dice really as we are beyond full. I posted for a foster on FB and along came Butch Wilcox via a referral from Richard Nash and today DAISY named by Butchs granddaughter happily went into a foster home. Just got the message she loves the other dogs, cats and kids and she is not going anywhere. The stars aligned for this tossed away dog last night and she has a long happy life ahead. Thank you Cindy Bialobzeski for advocating for your kids at the kennel. Another Schenectady AC success story. She will be spayed next week and live a good life included in a family and protected for life! This was some serious networking. Congrats Daisy and Butch!
