Last night a sister in the Lord came into the gym discouraged - TopicsExpress

Last night a sister in the Lord came into the gym discouraged about her job. Worried about whether or not they were going to fire her and she ask us to pray for her. Immediately as we began to pray the Holy Spirit began to speak a word in regards to trials. The Lord said many of us are allowing for our trials to dictate the outcome by allowing the spirit of discouragement to cancel out our faith because of fear. When in fact what God is doing is using the trial to stretch the borders of our faith and allow for a greater level of expectation. For the spirit of discouragement has come on assignment to give birth to fear, in order to destroy the new level of expectation that was sent to activate our faith. What we will do is allow the enemy to shake us based on what we see, instead of what we know to be true. For if God is truly who He says He is, then there is not a trial or circumstance that He cannot turn around for our good. But we have to stop allowing for our minds to become double-minded and move in doubt and out of faith. So God said for us to start EXPECTING THE GREATER regardless of what we may see right now. As it will be our ability to receive encouragement that will give birth to greater expectation, and will our activate our faith to believe that what looks impossible, shall be made possible. Do not be discouraged by what you see, for God is stretching our faith to allow expectation to do what it was assigned to do, birth the supernatural to believe God! - Coach Mason Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (James 1:2-8 NIV)
