Last night and today was crazy. Tj and chevy both started getting edens cough and of course on the weekend. Tj was just coughing non stop with breathing treatments and rescue inhaler, so I called around 12am to after hours line. Dr called him in a script for steroids. I had Amber Spicer watch the kids and drove to lawton to pick it up, I gave it to him when I got back and he was still getting worse so after waiting a little Tj was starting to wheezing and have an asthma attack so he got another breathing treatment. He was struggling so bad I took him to the er. They said the stuff I gave him helped stop his attack but he definitely had croup so they gave him a shot to help it. I took him home and checked on chevy with amber, his cough was worse, temp 103.3. I called the pulmonalogist on call for his clinic and they told me to take him to the er. So I went back to lawton with him. They gave him a breathing treatment and a steroid and X-rays. He has croup too so he will be on steroids for a couple days. After filling meds and making 3 runs to Lawton it was almost 1 pm before I got to take a nap. I have to say a big thanks to Amber for helping me watch the kids in between all the trips to lawton. As soon as I get caught up on some sleep, it will be time to Lysol the entire house.
