Last night and today were rough for me and Furget Us Not Rescue. We took in a very pregnant cat that was ready to give birth at any moment. She delivered 6 beautiful kittens. My niece Tasha is fostering her and I got a call last night at 11 p.m. that she thought there was a kitten stuck in the birth canal. She said she thought she could feel it. I told her we would take her in in the morning as it had been so long since the last one it would not be viable at this point. We got her in with the kittens and they thought the same things so we were going to have an emergency spay done. When they got in there it was an intestinal blockage and they removed about 2 lbs. of fecal matter. She has had her spay and is home with her babies. We would welcome any donations for mammas unexpected medical expenses. She is a local Genesee County cat. furgetusnotrescue.org .
