Last night, as I was about to take the puppies out for their last walk, we found not one, not two, not three, but Four bears in our front-yard. The first we knew about them was when Coco turned around the hedge and there came a loud Whoof sound. She retreated, Twiggy, tail and head high, moved in to check it out, but I pulled them back to the house since I knew there was only one critter around our neighborhood that could make a noise like that. Then, from our window Clara Boza and I spotted first one large bear, who headed down the street. A few seconds latter a mother with two large cubs headed down the drive-way of the house across the street. Life is never boring in Ashevillle!
