Last night at 11pm whilst travelling on the Regional train to Wagga my brother alerted me to an altercation behind me. A lady was accusing a man for purposely elbowing her in the eye while walking past. He apologised repeatedly saying he was sorry, but he was looking for a guard to help him (it was dark and he couldnt find his seat) she accused him for being under the influence and kept carrying on. I turned and asked her what her problem was, telling her to calm down and that it was an accident. (Obviously the train sways?) She replies by saying he should hold onto the seats like normal people would. I flat out told her to be quiet as she was now being annoying. Not long after the man who supposedly elbowed her returned to apologise and offer her chocolate. She refused and blatantly started accusing my brother and I saying she was waiting for the Train Guard to come as the two people in front me think I have a problem. Theyll have a problem when the Train guy comes! (To my surprise, my brother tells me this is THE SAME WOMAN who threatened him on the same service 2 weeks ago on his way back to Sydney! *Definitely angry now*) The guy is still trying to offer a peace offering while shes now running her mouth off about me & Sean. I finally turned around and told the guy to drop it and leave her alone, she did the same thing to my brother 2 weeks ago! This lady absolutely lost it. Threatened to take me to the police (for telling the truth) and accused me of picking on her because she was Aussie (Ohh, but you dont complain when you get your fortnightly payment though?) Now at this point Im ready to (insert Bruce Lee moves) .... Lol. Shes told me to go back to my own country, my people pick on her because shes Aussie blahblahblah! I follow her only to have 3 men hold me back telling me to let it go! She has a baby shes not worth it Moving forward I finally reach the train guard & he has the nerve to ask me If I was the one who threatened her. Anyways, long story short. We had the last laugh as we got moved to first class. Formal complaint will be lodged as Guard advised she is a known repeat offender! Not good enough. My point is; DO NOT BE AFRAID to stand up for yourself or anyone else you see getting verbally abused! You trying to prevent confrontation only fuels the perpetrator giving them the power! It shows them that all they have to do is throw a few cuss words and raise their voice, threaten to call the police and play the victim. I will not be a victim to racism and neither should YOU! Lady from Leeton was all bark and no bite. Heeeeaps of no-one at Wagga waiting for round 2! #SayNoToRacism #StandUP #KillEmWithKindness
