Last night during bible study, one of the ladies mentioned that she doesnt pray for healing for herself, for something like a broken arm, because other people are fighting cancer and a broken arm doesnt feel important enough to pray about. I didnt respond to her, but if I had, this is my thought. God is our Father, he loves us all. As parents if our child broke their arm, we wouldnt say to them, thats ok theres no need to fix your arm, after all its not cancer. We would make sure our childs needs are met whatever they are; Physical, mental and spiritual. God is big, he can do it all! He has done it all! He wants the best for us, just as we do for our children; physically, mentally and especially Spiritually! Dont be afraid to have a close personal relationship with God. He wants us to call on him-all the time- in good or bad times. Dont you enjoy hearing your child call your name? Wouldnt you run to them to help them even in the smallest matter? God is greater than us, he will do more than we are capable of doing. We need to trust Him enough, and realize the are worthy enough for His blessings and his grace!
