Last night in Arlington we cop watched for about 5 hours. We came across many different stops from simple speeding, no headlight, to something major like armed robbery. Tonight APD was highly respectful, never questioned how close we were and was very cordial with us and the people they pulled over. Must say a very different look. Did it take a years worth of cop watching and last weeks massive march to achieve this ? I will let you be the judge. The last hour of cop watching was around midnight we were actually just out of Arlingtons district so we checked in on a stop we seen on Bowen rd in Dalworthington Gardens. Two officers had 1 guy pulled out of his car, all 4 doors open and searching. Cop watchers pull up and funny how doors began to close and he gets sent on his way. The power of a camera when its not in the hands of a officer. After this stop we had 3 officers creeping on us probably butt hurt we broke up their illegal search. So they waited for us to pull out. We played ring around the roses in the parking lot for like 5 minutes. Then, they pulled into a Sonic that was closed to sit and wait for us to leave so we parked, grabbed our guns and did a midnight open carry in front of them. Finally, after about 10 minutes of that we got back in the car to test the waters and see if they would follow. They did not. Stand up for your rights! ( 1st picture is a stop in Arlington.
