Last night in a smooth move, I superglued 2 fingers together. When I hollered, Atticus came running. He didnt believe me, so he touched my fingers and for just one moment, got himself stuck to me. After he was unstuck, he sat back, kind of wildly relieved, and asked about our plans for the next few days, so he could imagine moving through life as a nine year old boy joined at the finger to his Mom. When I think about his summer days (dusty ball in the yard, sprinkler jumping with his buddies, video games), it does make a pretty great movie of the mind. ❤️😜
