Last night my team Boroughmuir played Cala in the semi- finals of the Catherine Lambert indoor cup, what a match it was it was end to end shear battle, they were ahead and looking like they had the upper hand but the team played out their socks and went into halftime 3-2 down and unlucky not to be level but the kid in the Cala goal was playing a blinder, and saved countless great attacks from Bmuir, The second half could not have started worse, and before 5 mins of the second half had passed Cala went 5-2 up, although i still think the 5th was outside the d when it was struck. But with 5 to go my team scored some of the best goals i have seen all season and stormed to draw the match at full time 5-5. So it went to Penalty strokes and i thought maybe just maybe, i was hoping they would all be ariel shots, as i feel more onfident with them, but the first one did got a part of it but not enough and the next 2 went bottom left tight to the post so i could not reach them consequentially the Cala team won 3-0 on Penalties ,but it was a cracking match and both teams played a lovely battle. My old bones certainly feel it tonight!!!
