Last night on dawes road I was with a couple people at the Duffys bar and restaurant. Leaving, Paige Marie and I noticed a man laying on the ground with a small crowd around him. Upon approaching, we had come to the realisation the man laying on the ground had been hit by a car and in result of had taken a major blow to the head and was losing a lot of blood. There was a woman on the phone with 911 but she wasnt making much sense in the call being very panicked and shocked, so I took the phone from her and continued the call myself. I let the paramedic know the man was losing a lot of blood from the head and she gave me the instructions to find a clean cloth and use it to compress the wound. We were in the middle of the road so my only resort was the shirt I was wearing, luckily having just done laundry a couple hours prior. I stood over him holding this fifty something year old mans head, putting pressure to the wound with the shirt off my back until the paramedics arrived. I just received the news via the news that this man has passed away. God rest his soul.
