Last night on our way home from graduation Logan was in the backseat. You did it! I say were so proud! Tay home day Al? He asks Yes, all the stay home days you want, youre all done! I tell him We get home, he gets in pjs and comes downstairs. Tay home? He asks. Yes, stay home. I assure him He eats, and as hes putting his dishes in the sink turns around Al, tay home day? Yes. School is done. You are finished. You went for a very long time and I know its hard to get used to, but thats it, school is over. I explain. He watches some tv, plays a game til midnight. He walks out to where I am with his watch and points to it. Lookit. Late time. You tired Al? Tay home you? I have to go back to work Monday I tell him with a fake pout. He stands there, obviously exhausted, swaying slightly. Haha haha punk honey nugget. He taunts, then before he goes back to his game double checks tay home day? I think he is literally in disbelief.
