Last night the grocery store had only gianormous watermelons! None that were normal sized. We could have bought one that was already cut, but it was 50cents a pound more and they never last as long! So Paul and I settled on buying the smallest gianormous watermelon (21 pounds!!), figuring wed end up throwing away some but still save some money. I cut it open today and its awaful. Pithy. Bruised. Tasteless. I hate being ripped off! They know that nobody packs up a partially cut, 21 pound watermelon and brings it back!! It was $8 though! The more I think about it, the more tempted I am to go dig it out of the garbage and take it to them!! #rottenfruit #rottenbusiness
