Last night the house was dark, we had just given Kady an upright swirly (as my mom so hilariously labeled it) with a jug of cold flush water, and we were all getting headaches from the plethora of scented candles burning in our stuffy little house. (Note to self: buy unscented candles for the upcoming Wintergeddonpocalypse) Then here came Kady with a flashlight and her Bible, obviously determined to find something. Mom, where is Hebrews? Kind of toward the end...why? Hang on......oh wow. Oh wow. This explains a lot. Then she read out loud Hebrews 13:2: Dont forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! (NLT) Bugg, why did you look up that verse? It was on the marquee at the church this morning. I think its like, their motto. Well, that explains why they were so welcoming and friendly -- they thought we might be angels! And then Paul kind of chuckled and said, Well, they are sure going to be disappointed when they get to know us.
