Last night was Magical!!! I wouldn’t change one thing :D I enjoyed myself so much and had a blast! Before the event started, I prayed and asked God to do his will! I worked extremely hard, practiced a lot and prepared myself the best I could. He knew how bad I wanted it and WHY I wanted the Title of Miss Houston Latina! I believe he has a plan with my victory! Its not about the Crown, Title, Money or prizes that I won. Its about the impact that I will be able to have on people’s life. That’s the REAL prize! I now have a stage where I share my story and be an inspiration to those who need it. Back in 2008 I went through a very hard time, I thought my life was over and there was no hope for me. That event changed my life dramatically... But! there was a reason why I had to hit bottom: God knew that one day I was going to be able to stand in front of many and share my testimony! I want to talk to young ladies, visit hospitals and have the opportunity to share my love with those who need it. I have a mission in life and with God’s help, my family and friends; I’ll be able to accomplish it! I believe that this is just the beginning of many amazing things and blessings that are coming my way! I believe and declare that MISS HOUSTON LATINA will touch lives, and be a light in dark places! I WANT TO THANK EVERY SINGLE ONE who supported me in any way: text, email, votes, presence…. Etc.! I have received so many complements; I also won “BEST PERSONALITY” which is awesome!! I owe that one to my parents! ;) ... all I can say is that it’s an HONOR to represent HOUSTON and my LATINO CULTURE! THANK YOU Miss Houston Latina for this amazing opportunity!!!
