Last night was a heart shared experience.... We talked about why we decided to go back to school, the road that brought us back, how overwhelming it can be, our individual distractions behind the school scenes, our life outside of school, our challenges, our fears, the expense of school, budgets we are surviving on, our pasts, broken hearts, healed hearts, relationships, how important it is to stay true to ourselves, how important trust and honesty are to us, our many scars, the paths we have chosen to heal, how lucky we are to have one another, how people, (good and bad), come into our life for a reason, the beauty and growth from struggle, the joy in our world, things that make us happy, our weaknesses, our strengths, our desire to be both strong and compassionate women and our desire to keep on keeping on... We also ate a pretty great meal during this conversation, all in the four hours we spent at the Cactus Club....:)
