Last night was a quiet Sunday evening at the care center. I was comfortably settled ready to watch the Golden Globes hoping to see James Spader. I noticed I had coughed u bits of blood. It didnt amount to much and wasnt painful. Hmm, perhaps I should mention to the charge nurse. That would be a duh. After consulting doctor they sent me to hospital, to be on the safe side. Gary got to emergency room before I did. I enjoyed hearing paramedic give transfer report to ER tech:60 year old Caucasian female spoke of coughing up small amounts of blood this evening. Care center request ambulance to ER said husband will meet us at Mercy. She is alert talkative, oriented to time and space. Her vital signs are normal and not currently in physical pain. Me: Oh hey, isnt this part where you say, Mentally she is a Ray of sunshine?! Im sorry to interrupt. You go ahead and put it into your own words ha. You gotta keep smiling.
