Last night was cool. We got a call that someone had dropped a dog off at the shelter. Called the gentleman that brought the dog in and he said he had found it with a broken chain. Told us he had put it in the outside kennel we have for the Dog Warden and had pulled the hose around and watered him. Said he had posted him on Facebook. Talk about a great guy. Arrived at the shelter and found a big Rhodesian Ridgeback in the kennel. Such a nice big boy. Took him in and looked up his 2012 dog license and got his owners name, address and phone. It was about 11:30 so we fed and watered him and left the information for the day shift to call. Went out to leave and a car pulls up and its the owner. Processed him out and he went home. Got to love it when they get home so quickly.
