Last night was full of class-acts overcoming obstacles, the way class-acts do. Im also not aware of a single altercation, and did not see one member of the PPB. Im grateful that Mike Thrasher Presents stands strong and continues to do rap & hip-hop shows in PDX. We need it. S/O to Funkshop DJs Turntablist Biggz, Young Eastlin & the Premium Lifestyle LLC. camp, the other openers who were without over-inflated egos, and two of the nicest, most down-to-earth headliners that I have yet had the pleasure to meet. Bun B & Kirko Bangz were great to have in town, and their entourages were good people, too. Book them any chance you get. Shawn Rainey, good look on the video production. I know it took a lot of time to set-up & tear down. Your efforts and loyalty have not gone unnoticed. Im sure that Buns camp will appreciate the footage they asked you to get, too. Salute. To the 125+ people who bought tickets directly from us and came out strong, thank you for your support. If you also helped move tickets or even just help promote the show, pat yourself on the back one more time. That was PREMO! Hopefully you all see fit to continue to show that love. None of this works without ALL of you. I have to give my biggest S/O to my best buddy Sione who was a little rider! He was there with us for 7hrs, from sound check all the way to the end of the show. Despite a few moments of boredom for him, he made little complaint and even learned a few things. Im thinking we need to teach him to dance so that he can entertain during intermissions! Thank you Nia Afu for allowing him to come out with me. Your trust in me is appreciated. Im excited to get back to work and see where we can make thing even better & more entertaining! I believe that we should never settle, and that there is always room for improvement. Its all love, lets get it!
