Last night was fun, worthwhile, and encouraging at Bible Stduy and Prayer. We had many people in attendance and emjoyed being together sharing our hearts with God and others. Our Youth are raising money to attend the Youth Evangelism Celebration (YEC) at the end of November during Thanksgiving break. They are selling tickets for a Jambalaya Dinner this Sunday. Anyone can purchase tickets for $5.00 to help pay for their trip or donations are accepted. You can pick up your dinner Sunday and take it home or you can eat at the church. Verse of the day: Psalm 84:1–4 (NIV84) 1 How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! 2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. 4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
