Last night was one of those magic nights, as an artist and organizer, you rarely get those perfect nights. Each storyteller was fantastic. There was not a low moment in the show, each storyteller killed. Marga Gomez killed! She took us through a journey of her moving to San Francisco and painted a beautiful picture of how this city used to be. That moment when the alarm when off, and Jaime, not skipping a beat said It was alarming !! Morgan was so funny, and her shoes were hot. Matt was the perfect way to end it, on a high romantic note. MADNOISE was the perfect choice for music, Im grateful for their music and their patience and generosity. I had such a great time working with KQED and Im super grateful for the opportunity to work with them and the StoryCorps folks. Dave Isay was wonderful, I feel like we made a great team. It was an honor to meet him. At one point I had to go to the hallway and meditate for like a minute or two, with some deep breaths, there was so much love in the crowd, the audience was huge and full of so many friends and good people, had I had the time I would have personally thanked each and every single one myself, I thought about standing near the door and hugging each person on their way out to thank them for coming, but then I went to get a drink, cause boy did I need one. So grateful for the whole experience. I love what I do.
