Last night was pretty special for me.. I started in the relationship marketing industry 18 years ago, and my sister was one of the first people I approached about the company I was involved in. She had no interest, but bought products because she wanted to help me out...but they just collected dust in her pantry... Then came the next company...she bought more products..... then the next... then the next... I continued to struggle.... She always did what a good sibling would do and supported me through each new venture.. But never had interest in the business or business model..... Then one day, after a year or so, she dusted off a product that I had given her from a company I have been with for 2 1/2 years.. She was amazed at how well this product made her skin feel and how much better her skin looked in a very short time... While this was happening, I was having major success in my business and shortly after I received a $50,000 bonus with the company.... Then I received a phone call from her asking me questions about the company, how it worked, and why this one was different from the others in the past... I sent her a video that explained how it was different...that we sample and dont have to sell, we receive free inventory, we have the best CEO Jeff Olson and the best management team in the industry. We give back to organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, and we area all about making people better. Well, that was it for her!! She saw the vision and what it could provide for her and her family!! I couldnt believe it!! My sister who I have looked up to my whole life was going to partner with me.... That was four months ago...and now she is killing it!! So.... last night I had the pleasure of being the guest speaker in my home state of NH, and who introduced me....my sister Ariane Hodges Train. It took everything in me to hold back the tears seeing her in front of the room talking about her baby brother... The icing on the cake was my mom, Brenda E Souza was also there sitting in the front row grinning from ear to ear, happy to see her son tell his story!!
