Last night was the final episode of Craig Fergusons Late Late show on CBS. Of the years, I was never disappointed with what I saw. He was funny, and more importantly, he was sincere. Back in 2007 Craig did a monologue with a minimum amount of BAZINGA GOTCHA HUMOR. It was the moment he annonced he was not going to do mean spirited jokes at someone elses expense...especially if that person is in trouble. He was drawing a distinction on what he now considered fair territory. Its a very moving admission of how close he and Britney Spears were to being the same person... I am going to miss watching Craigon late night TV. How many shows post a robot skeleton as a side-kick and make that work.
